VEGEbossThis is the player's Hand. Each player has: - 8 "Grounds", visible to both, numbered 1-4. - 12 "Seeds" & "Sprout", hide to the opponent, numbered 5-12 - 5 Jokers (I'll teach you how to use the Jokers in the next moves) ---[red][tip][/red] Is very easy to calculate which cards your opponent is holding3player-84700261

VEGEbossThe "Ground" cards in the player's Hand are placed on the table, while the others are *phisically* in the player's hand. VEGEboss1) completing the Cultivations, like in this example: who plays the *Red 17* gains 10 points! VEGEbossIn other words: the Cultivations are sequences of five cards numbered in "step 4" [img]https://www.vegetablesgame.com/bga_tut/cultivation.jpg[/img] and you can't play a card if the previous in the sequence is not already played (...because the sprout can't born if you don't seed the ground ;) )6archivecontrol_editmode_centercomment

VEGEbossAt each player's turn is mandatory to do *AT LEAST* one valid move. If you don't have playable cards, [red]the game ends immediately[/red] and the opponent get 10 points for each uncompleted Cultivations. What is a valid move? 1) to put one card on the board 2) to use a Joker in the place of a card held by the opponent 3) to discard a Joker or a card "burned" by the opponent using a Joker7archivecontrol_editmode_centercomment

VEGEbossThis is the player's Hand. VEGEbossWhen a slot of the board is opened (usually with a Ground card, but is possible to use a Joker) you *MUST* take one card from the Silos. Click on the *Red 17*!1silo-3_item_79

VEGEbossNow let's talk about the Jokers! [img]https://www.vegetablesgame.com/bga_tut/tractor_joker.jpg[/img] Each player has 5 "Tractor" cards and one is immediately available: take it with a click on this button!1pick_up_button

VEGEbossYou'll dispose of two more Jokers when you use your 4th Ground card, and the last two Jokers when you run out of Grounds. The Jokers can be used in two ways...1player-84700261-hand_item_83

VEGEboss1) you can discard it, simply clicking on [red][!!!][/red]... but you should be *a very experienced player* to take advantage from this type of move. 2) you can use the Joker in the place of a card held by your opponent. To do this, click on the card that *[red]FOLLOWS[/red]* the Joker --- [red][!!!][/red] in game option, you can set to be asked for a confirm before discard/use of the Joker2player-84700261-hand_item_83

VEGEbossClicking on the *Red 7* the software use *automatically* the Joker to replace the *Red 3* held by your opponent4player-84700261-hand_item_32

VEGEbossOpening a Cultivation with a Joker has the same effect of a Ground card: you *must* take one card from the Silos. Click on the *Green 19* to complete the example.1silo-2_item_74

VEGEbossAnd now your opponent has the opportunity to discard the *Red 3*, "burned" by your Joker, as a valid move!2player-86900803-public-hand_item_10

VEGEbossAnd now, the Wells. There are two, at the sides of the board, and a third will be showed when one of the first two runs out of cards. There are two ways to approach the Wells: 1) When you run under 12 cards you *CAN* pick from the Wells (as in this case) 2) When you run under 8 cards you *MUST* do it in both cases you have to take as many cards are needed to return to 8/12 cards in your Hand1spsl-84700261

VEGEbossHaving 11 cards, you must take one from the Wells. The best choose, is the *Green 5*! After this, returning to 12 cards in the Hand, the software will Pass automatically1well-1_item_48

VEGEboss[red][tip][/red]: when your opponent makes so many actions (probably too much ;) ) it means that the cards in the Wells are important1archivecontrol_editmode_centercomment

VEGEboss[red][tip][/red]: The *Black 8* is a very strategical card, because you have the 4 and the 12...1draw_button

VEGEbossIn the next turn you'll see playing a lot of cards. The idea is to complete the [red]Tomato[/red] sequence taking the *13 Red* from the Silos and the *9 Red* from the Left Well1player-84700261

VEGEbossAnd playing the *1 Red*, the first half of the work is done! Now click on the *Red 13*1silo-4_item_66

VEGEbossAlso the *Green 15* is very interesting for you. Play the *Yellow 2* to take it from the Silos.1player-84700261-public-hand_item_5

VEGEbossCan you figure why is so good to take the *Green 15*? Because using a Joker you can complete the Artichokes Cultivation!1silo-4_item_54

VEGEbossThe last four cards in the Well are fantastic! - The *Yellow 14* make playable the Lemon 18 - The *Green 13* goes perfectly in the Zuchinis Cultivation - The *Green 16* is immediately playable on the 12 - The *Red 15* is a block for the *Red 19* held by the opponent 1well-2_item_65

VEGEbossAlmost all your cards are playable! You are close to the victory! The only problem to solve is that the opponent is holding the *Yellow 9 and 13* (which block your *Yellow 17*) and the *Red 16* which block the *Red 20*1player-84700261
