Build a thriving Biome in this highly thematic nature themed tableau builder for 1-4 players. Compete for biodiversity achievements and outmaneuver your opponents by activating the special abilities of your plants and animals. Each action can only be activated once, so think carefully about which actions you take and when.
Rounds of the game move through the seasons, each season having its own thematic impact on the Biome. In the simultaneous gameplay phase, draw cards and collect resources to play a plant or animal into your Biome and earn points. Play your birds and rabbits next to plants, so that in Spring, they will make nests and have chicks and baby bunnies! But beware, in Summer, your opponents' predators are on the prowl. Protect your baby animals by playing more plants in each habitat. Earn points with successful hunts and by feeding your baby animals.
Add the optional Natural Disasters mini expansion (spinner) to bring additional variability and nature's harsh reality to your game of Biome.
With many ways to earn points (and win!) plus multiple difficulty levels, you can tailor your game to your adventure level!

ルールの概要
Biome
In this strategic tableau-building game for 1-4 players, players act as environmentalists. The goal is to establish a flourishing, biodiverse Biome by playing flora and fauna cards, raising baby animals, and completing achievements to earn the most victory points.
Gameplay
The game spans a maximum of 3 years, each divided into 4 seasons. Each season consists of six phases, played either simultaneously or in turn-based order.
- 1. Hand Limit Check (Simultaneous): The hand limit is 8 cards. Excess cards must be discarded. For every 2 cards discarded, you receive 1 resource or 1 new card.
- 2. Draw Cards (Simultaneous): All players draw 2 cards from the main deck.
- 3. Collect Resources (Simultaneous): All players take 2 resources of their choice (Sunlight for plants, various food types for animals) from the supply.
- 4. Play 1 Card (Simultaneous): You may play 1 card into your Biome by paying its resource cost and advancing your token on the point track. If you decline to play a card, you may draw 1 card instead.
- 5. Seasonal Event (Turn-based): This phase changes with the season:
- Spring (Nesting): Birds and rabbits adjacent to compatible plants form nests and produce babies (chicks/kits).
- Summer (Predation & Feeding): Predators can attack opponents' nests (die roll). Afterward, you must pay food to feed your own baby animals to raise them for points.
- 6. Action Phase (Turn-based): On your turn, you may activate the ability of one unused card in your Biome. Place a player cube on the card to mark it as used. Each card ability can only be activated once per game.
Bonuses & Achievements
- Point Track: Reaching or passing specific spaces grants instant bonuses (resources, card draws, or discounts).
- Achievements: The first player to complete a public achievement earns the highest point value. Subsequent players earn fewer points for the same goal.
End of Game
The game ends at the conclusion of a season if any of these conditions are met:
- A player reaches 120 points.
- A player's Biome (all 18 spaces) is completely filled with cards.
- The end of the 3rd year (12 seasons) is reached.
The player with the most victory points on the track wins.
