After a move has been completed you have to select the confirm button. Maybe add a 10 second count down timer to the bottom. If you don't select confirm it would auto confirm your move after the time is up. It would make for a smoother game play.

I prefer how it is now, without the countdown, we have more time to decide if this move is really what we want to do.

I wouldn't do one or the other. A timer would be an additional option.
