I could click and play my cards by context, but I couldn't see them. Each card was just a translucent grey rectangle instead of showing what each card actually was. I tried discarding them all, refreshing, etc. with no effect. I'm playing on the mobile app.

I couldn't figure out how to upload anything when I clicked the imgur link provided. But I have a screenshot I can email y'all or something if that'd help.

Greetings, sorry you encountered this problem!
First, open the image in an image editor and choose edit -> copy. Then, after you visit imgur.com, you should be able to press 'ctrl-V" to paste an image from your clipboard. If this still fails, send me a PM and I will find another way to get the screenshot.
Also, what device were you using, and what web browser? (iPhone 6, Windows PC, Firefox 1234, etc.)

After further discussion, this only seems to be happening with a Pixel 5 phone and the BGA app. I do not have this phone and cannot reproduce the behavior. Also, room cards are shown the same way as stair cards, and the player confirmed they can see the source image, just not the image ingame.
Without the ability to reproduce and debug, I will have to wait for someone else with a Pixel 5 to see if they have the same problem. :(

I tested with another user who has a Pixel 5, and the BGA app worked.

After further discussion with the player, they have no extension and no custom CSS. Since another player with the same phone has no issue with the game on the BGA application, we were unable to determine a cause or reproduce.
If anyone else has this problem please create a new report so I can analyze.
