I used anna´s hummingbird on my turn and another player has not chosen their food now for 22 days. As a result the game thinks I am late in playing my turn and the result of this is I am now blocked from playing any other turn based games. I don´t want to abandon the game and take a penalty. Is it possible you can close the game with nobody taking a penalty. I am not sure when the late player al power will be back if ever!

First time I have encountered a problem like this. Originally the game was in real time not turn based, which might have caused the problem when we switched the game

You shouldn't be considered the active player in this game. If the framework won't allow you to do something because of this table, I'm afraid that would be a framework bug which I wouldn't be able to help with.
You could skip the player who is going over time. Once that happens, you can quit without a penalty.
