When I played the game with the automatic play option for the only possible action, on the turn I had my last card, I could not take a card from the center and my card was automatically played.

Hey,
Thanks for the precise report. You can take cards from the river only once per round. Looking at the garage replay, your first move of the last round was taking cards (move 32). That’s why your last move was played automatically; you could only play your last card.
