And I wonder how to manage the number of remaining words as when a player fails to guess, one remaining word is lost.
Maybe the easiest approach would be: when the game is over according to the rules (and ELO has been awarded or at least calculated), players can agree to keep playing and enjoying each other's company until one of them wants to finish the game, one word at a time (so the deck of remaining cards would keep showing a 0 and the score would not be altered).
Just to answer your doubts - we as game developers do not have any access to ELO calculation, that's totally on the BGA side
An alternative idea: the option of infinite rounds would only be available in "Training mode". I'm not sure I prefer this option, but it would solve the problem of having to deal with ELO if the game has unlimited turns.
