Given that the flipping of the deck matters for whether end game can be triggered, there needs to be both a status indicator for whether you're on your first or second deck plus a notification when the reshuffle happens (a game log entry and something showing the moment it happened).

I'd love to know a little more about what you're seeing. Here's how it looks on DEV: imgur.com/a/aocmX6y
- For a 3 or 4 player game, before the shuffle, there's a red mermaid card below the deck
- During the shuffle, there's an animation on the cards, and the red mermaid card slides in
- Afterwards, there's a ghosted mermaid card with a tooltip hint that it's been shuffled
- A game log slides into the deck.
I'm wondering if the problem is that the shuffle animation and cues are too small and hard to notice.

I just played my first game and was surprised when the game ended because neither one of us realized that the deck had been shuffled. We play async instead of real-time though, so we normally don't notice the animations of the game.
I think the reshuffle is an important enough event though that it really needs to be called out in a more prominent way.
