When we take a booster tile, it is placed over the part of the board describing conversion's rate. Could the tile be placed somewhere else ?

I saw Gen3, and I strongly disagreed with it. There is an entire unused half of a monitor next to the board, how can it possibly be too difficult to put the tile next to the board instead of programming a frustrating "which part don't you want to read" toggle? PLEASE, FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THAT IS HOLY, CHANGE THIS!
