The BGA system has changed, and now there are clearly 2 WINNERS and 2 LOOSERS in Belote -> The same could be done in Klaverjassen

Is has also been fixed in the game Coinche :)

If there is something that can be changed about this in Klaverjassen itself, I will gladly adapt it.
But do you have more information about what exactly “the BGA system has been changed” means?

The original ELO system bug boardgamearena.com/bug?id=11297 is still open, and I don’t see any new information in it.
Also haven’t seen any other communications about any changes in this regard.
Do you have some link or source of information for this?

Also, if you look at the release version of Belote and Coinche, no new releases have been done after 2012/02 and 2021/05 respectively.
So if anything changed, I suppose it is not in the game implementation itself but something in BGA system or admin configuration.

Hi wolmot,

I can confirm that for some reason Klaverjassen is behaving differently than Belote / Coinche.

I just won a game boardgamearena.com/table?table=222085639 and I didn't get the achievements for winning my first (or 3rd) game

wolmot, I have a theory:

look at the results for my two team games where I did get the winning achievement:

Spades:
boardgamearena.com/table?table=210129550

Belote:
boardgamearena.com/table?table=221978175

And then for comparison, my recent game of Klaverjassen:
boardgamearena.com/table?table=222085639

In Spades and Belote, it comes up "Winner / Winner / Loser / Loser"
However, in Klaverjassen, it comes up "1st / 1st / 3rd / 3rd"

My theory is that it's the likely cause of this behaviour

@Dave, that is not really the cause but just another effect of the "tied" winners.
However, meanwhile I have been digging further into the difference between Belote/Coinche and Klaverjassen, and found out about a new game info setting that effects this "team winner" behavior.

Klaverjassen game info has now also been adapted and released, that should do the trick.
