The Bonus Upgrade port did not provide the $5 discount when I tried to upgrade my technology (it displayed the full cost as $10 instead of $5). In the appendix portion of the rulebook, it grants the user specifically a Bonus Upgrade. The differentiation between a bonus upgrade and a normal one is the discount which should have been applied. In addition, using the Port action cost me my entire turn (it wouldn't allow me to Pass afterwards) instead of being a free action before my Main action.
