I suggest when an 8 changes the suit that this information show somewhere. Lots of ways to do this and I'm not sure what's best, but I will posit quite safely that having that information only in the history log is not best practice, should be clearly on the table somehow. Thanks!

I have now put a icon that shows this. It is between the discard pile and your player hand.
