This is also a popular variant which people use in real life, where your initial hand of trains is behind the player screen and the traded shares are in front.

Espinola - To be clear, are you asking that acquired trains are publically visible, as per dennislaumen's suggestion, or asking for the logs for the trades to have more limited information so the trades are harder to trace? (Bearing in mind they would still be traceable as anyone can make notes).
