I'd specifically selected first player turn order because an engineer I'd been eying the whole game is about to be up for purchase for the upcoming round. I'd also set aside money to be used in purchasing said engineer when I'm first player next round. however, in finishing the current round, I'd THOUGHT I was using my worker set aside from the turn order reserve, little did I know, I'd just spent the money I'd set aside to buy the engineer, with no undo option, essentially wasting two workers in an accidental blunder of game mechanics.• あなたのブラウザは何ですか?

I wish there was a clearer distinction to show money (reservable for next round) vs meeples are being played at each turn

Yes, I made this SAME mistake. I had been planning to buy a particular engineer, and thought I was spending the meeple that was claiming turn order #1. Instead, I spent my last rouble.
The User Interface should me it blazingly clear that I am spending roubles. Perhaps "Are you sure you want to spend roubles?" or something like that. Making this mistake cost me 94 VP, and the game.
