In the trading posts expansion, when using the 3 black cards post (allowed to choose 2 hidden cards and take one) it's possible to have more than 10 coins. When I reserved a card while already having 10 coins, instead of being prompted to get rid of a coin, I was allowed to have 11. I did this once more for a total of 12 coins.

When I went to spend my coins, because I bought a blue card costing 3 blacks and I already had 3 black cards bought, I didn't have to give away coins. However, I was not permitted to continue the turn as I had too many coins. The game would not allow me to give the coins back. In the end, the game had to be abandoned.
