The Tsubasa Ozora card says "You can eliminate a card . . ." which implies I have a choice if I want to or not. The interface railroaded me into selecting a card even though I did not want to discard a card. If the action is mandatory, the card needs to be reworded.

Only allowed me to select the action, then select a card to discard. I did not see a way to choose NOT to discard a card.

Tsubasa Ozora has two abilities : the main one is discarding, the secondary one is drawing and playing a card.
When you select the card after playing it, the two abilities are displayed.
You can click on any of the two to activate them, or you can pass if you don't want to activate anything. The "Pass" button is in the top bar.
Even after clicking on the main ability, you still have the option to cancel (in the top bar again).

I just realized this on a later card. But having a "pass" button to not do the ability is confusing, since the rulebook says when you "Pass" you play no more cards that round. Consider using another word than "Pass". Perhaps "skip action" or something like that.
