The do not seem random enough. In my last game, my opponent and I rolled doubles six times in a row between the two of us.

There is an usually high number of doubles in this game. At least 40% of the rolls in my last two games were doubles.

It most of the times appears at the end of the game. It seems that at some points it is just mathematically possible to roll some doubles. One game my oponent rolled 7 doubles in 8 dice throws !

In the games I have played, in the majority, there appears to be a bias in the number of doubles a side gets. I would say that the bias is running at the ratio of about 4:1

Got the same feeling. At the beginning, it could just be the fate but after 30 games, it's quite strange. Didn't count though but I'm sure the "ratio" is way beyond 6/36=1/6.

The quantity of doubles in this game is much higher than in real life.

The probability of having a double is 1/6
Your game 10149665 had 14 double for 75 dice rolled
14 * 6 = 84 you had a bit more double than medium probability (75 / 6 = 12,5)

5917 games have been done, with a average number of double of 4.34 by game by player, it means 8.68 total double in a game for both player. It seems all right.
I'll add the "number of dice rolled by player" to increase statistic relevance.

The php function used is mt_rand
php.net/manual/en/function.mt-rand.php

Meybe the average number of doubles is ok, but on some certain games the amount of doubles is HUUUGE. 2 days ago I played a game and me and my opponent rolled doubles in row (about 5 or 6 times each of us). Very strange! Maybe it was just plain luck, but I don't think you can ever reproduce it in real life.

Since you have the entire record of thousands of games, is there any way you could make that available for statistical analysis? The issue I *think* I see is that after a double, the next roll seems to have a greater than 1/36 chance of being the exact same double.

game number 10402288. opponent rolled 6 doubles in first 7 throws of game! I gave up and conceded before he had chance to roll even more!

to be able to put the median number of doubles per game into any relation we would need the median number of moves as well. otherwise the number can signify just about anything

I've only completed one game of this, and am about to complete another. In the completed game, yes I got several doubles in a row, or at least close together, while I was bearing off. I wasn't keeping count but it did seem a bit odd. On my almost-completed current game I haven't seen that.

Interestingly, I have a computer version of this, and it seems my opponent gets doubles an extraordinary amount, especially while bearing off. Is there something about the way these are programmed that make them do odd things like that?

really to many doubles - that must be a bug! I never saw such many doubles in one game without doubling cube!

Hi,
game stats are up to date and I can give you results.
For the last 1000 games
25.84 dice has been rolled by games for
4,2 double

25.84 / 4.2 = 1 double every 6.15 rolls

Stat is fine.
The number of double is fine.
