when I asked my opponent if anything unusual happened on the turn in question he answered
"I don't know I haven't choose that exchange I thought it w as only an error in the log and I was playing mY emissary as a first move"

Added some checks.
Not 100% sure it solves the problem as I have difficulties to replicate the bug.
