I was nearing the end of the game. I ran out of time and was no longer allowed to discard a card from my hand.

When I tried to discard a card nothing happened. The button to discard a card disappeared. The other player eventually had to kick me out of the game. Very frustrating!

I don't have a screenshot. My computer was working fine while I was playing the game, but as soon as I went into overtime the interface locked up.

I can't replicate your situation. The button disappeared only when the opponent kicked out the player already.
