Ever single game one or both of us has mistakenly either exchanged a card or changed trump with a card we intended to play. Please implement some way to differentiate these actions (fox, gift) from a regular card play .. even a confirmation would suffice as a minimal option.

You should check the status bar before playing. Also, check preference options for a confirmation feature.
