In this game, I passed on the last turn to let my opponent take their turn, wanting to avoid having my white cow stolen.
The game let me do this and did not tell me I wouldn't have a chance to place my pieces.

This has happened to me as well.
As rules say you have to place your last pieces if they fit the placement rules, I can't see that allowing player to "pass" at this time without forcing to place them at some point is legal according rules.

Happened at table #526327661 too, one player had tiles he could place legally, so not forcing them to place the last tiles is not according to rules.
