A spectacular duel unfolds deep beneath the earth. You take turns sending out mighty dragons to conquer territories. But place them wisely! If your beasts grow too powerful, they'll turn on each other, and you could lose everything.
Dragon Overload is a card game for two, part of our 2026 Summer of Games.
You compete to send your dragons into five landscapes and gain majority there. Each zone is associated with a specific family of dragons and can hold only a limited number of cards.
How does it work? On your turn, you select one of your cards and place it in one of the available slot on your side of the board. Your opponent gets the card from the pile of the chosen area, and he then plays one of his cards. And so on…
The game is based on a territory-control mechanism, but accumulating power isn't necessarily the best strategy. If the strength of your dragons reaches at least twice that of your opponent’s in a zone, your creatures become uncontrollable and you automatically lose that territory. This rule turns your duels into an exercise in balance and anticipation.
Dragon Overload incorporates an element of bluffing thanks to the possibility to play up to three cards face down. Incomplete information forces your opponent to interpret your intentions while protecting their own plans.
The game ends when one player controls all five territories, when an opponent can no longer perform a valid action, or when all zones are filled. The player with the most territory at that point wins.

地底深くで壮大な決闘が繰り広げられる。プレイヤーは順番に強力なドラゴンを送り出し、領土を征服していく。しかし、ドラゴンの配置は慎重に！ドラゴンが強くなりすぎると、互いに争い始め、全てを失ってしまう可能性がある。
Dragon Overloadは、2人用のカードゲームで、2026年のサマーオブゲームズの一環です。
プレイヤーは、自分のドラゴンを5つの地形に送り込み、そこで過半数を獲得することを目指して競い合います。各地形は特定のドラゴンの系統と関連付けられており、配置できるカードの枚数に制限があります。
ルールは？ 自分の番になったら、手札からカードを1枚選び、ボードの自分の側の空いているスロットに置きます。相手は選ばれたエリアの山札からカードを取り、自分のカードを1枚プレイします。これを繰り返します。
このゲームは領土支配メカニズムに基づいていますが、力を蓄積することが必ずしも最善の戦略とは限りません。あるゾーンにおいて、自分のドラゴンの強さが相手のドラゴンの強さの少なくとも2倍に達すると、クリーチャーは制御不能になり、その領土は自動的に失われます。このルールにより、決闘はバランス感覚と先読み能力が試されるものとなります。
Dragon Overloadは、最大3枚のカードを裏向きでプレイできるため、ブラフの要素を取り入れています。情報が不完全なため、相手は自分の計画を守りながら、あなたの意図を推測せざるを得ません。
ゲームは、いずれかのプレイヤーが5つの領地すべてを支配した場合、対戦相手が有効な行動を取れなくなった場合、またはすべてのゾーンが埋まった場合に終了します。その時点で最も多くの領地を支配しているプレイヤーが勝利となります。
